How DealTree makes money

We believe comparison sites should explain how commercial relationships work, what influence they may have and what users should understand before clicking through.

Updated for the current DealTree site experience in 2026.

Commercial relationships

DealTree may earn revenue when users click through to a provider, sign up through a tracked link or engage with selected featured offers. This can include affiliate relationships, referral arrangements or sponsored placements.

A provider relationship does not automatically mean a product will appear on every page.
Some areas may have featured content placements where certain offers are highlighted more prominently.
Commercial arrangements can influence what appears on the site, but we still aim to make pages useful and understandable for users first.

What it means for users

Our goal is to help users find a clearer starting point before they visit a provider website. Final pricing, eligibility, terms and offer availability always need to be confirmed with the provider directly.

Featured sections may highlight deals, pages or providers we think are worth checking first.
Some pages may include commercial placements or sponsored visibility where appropriate.
Users should treat DealTree as a comparison and discovery layer, not as the final source of provider terms.

How we try to keep this fair

Commercial relationships help support the business, but they do not remove the need for useful content. We still want pages to be clear, practical and worth a user’s time whether they click an offer, browse a guide or compare a category.
